Great house, great location, great host. Whether you're visiting the area for an event or just to get out, this is a fantastic place to stay. Justin knows the house, the history, and the area like you wouldn't believe. He even brought a housewarming present of pumpkin bread from his neighbor's farm! That was also awesome. Cannot go wrong booking this place!
This was by far the best experience we have had at an air B and B. Justin was in constant communication with us and was extremely hospitable. There were so many personal touches! The house was well stocked and very clean. We can’t wait to come back in the spring and explore more of the beautiful area.
This place is STUNNING!
The home is spacious, clean, well decorated, and comfortable. Located on a quiet, historic street in Columbia, it's ideal for morning or evening walks to the historic downtown or the river. The host was super generous there were so many surprise amenities.
What a fantastic property, absolutely beautiful. A lot of effort has gone into restoring the Freedom house, and the moment you open the door, your breath is taken away. A very relaxing place to be, and Justin is a fantastic host. The house has everything you need. My favorite place was the Kitchen and Dining area, amazing. Thankyou.

The perfect host, the perfect house, the perfect weekend! Justin made sure we had everything we needed. He was in communication with me making everything super easy and relaxing. Justin went above and beyond with recommendations of places to eat, shop, and drink. Even leaving us gift cards to some of the places in town. This was a great weekend away with a bunch of moms who needed a relaxing weekend. Justin made sure we did just that, thank you!
I had a wonderful bachelorette weekend at the Freedom Home in Columbia. My friends and I were so comfortable and the home is well stocked with everything we could need! Everyone slept very well in the quiet, cozy house. The hosts were very hospitable and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
This was such a beautiful home! It was very spacious, elegant, and full of history. The Columbia area is lovely as well- it was very quiet and there were some cool antique shops and restaurants nearby. My friends and I loved our time here, and I had a great experience with Justin (the host). It was obvious that he cares not only about this historical home, but also that it’s guests are comfortable and set up for an enjoyable stay. We were lucky to have warm enough weather to spend time outside on the patio/backyard, too! I hope to visit this house again and will be recommending it to others in search of a relaxing, fun-filled weekend!
This summer my tennis team stayed at the Freedom House for our tournament weekend. From the start of reservation process and throughout the stay Justin was attentive and made the process a breeze. Check in was easy and Justin had tips for places to eat or visit during our trip. The house was extremely clean and everything we needed was available. The best part, Justin gave me a personal tour of the home, renovations, and a history of the town. It gave us a personal connection which my friends and I appreciated.
